After traveling to Las Vegas last August to photograph a wedding, I fell in love with the desert. I returned earlier this year and spent a few days in Joshua Tree and just had this amazing desire to put together a styled shoot back here in Oz with the same feeling and style. After hunting around, I found Cactus Country and set about putting together a group of creatives who I love working with. I used a real couple to get the intimacy and feeling in the shoot that I required. Ine is actually a photographer from Norway who has been assisting me whilst out here studying and they are getting married next year back in Norway. She was more than happy to come on board. I really wanted a romantic, elegant shoot with real connection. I think we got this.
