A gorgeous garden wedding in Gippsland with boho styling and a really laid back feel was exactly how Katherine had dreamed her wedding would be. The ethereal dreamy feel of the day suited both her and Nic perfectly. Working with the amazing Dear Delilah Florist to design the reception details, such as the lace dream catchers on the beautiful lace backdrop, the huge arch covered in greenery which Donna designed herself for Katherine and surprised her with on the night was just perfect.
Mixing Nic’s Italian heritage into the celebrations with the antipastos, pasta, good wine and our first dance being wrapped up in streamers by guests symbolising ‘tying the knot’ together were real highlights of the night. Nic has a huge family and at the end f the night they formed a big circle and all gave them a kiss and best wishes for their married life together. Traditionally they then exited the wedding out the back door of the venue through an archway and cut the ribbon across it together.
The highlights for them were having their wedding so close to our home and family and also being able to celebrate with loved ones.
