A stunning Country Wedding on Private Property in beautiful Maryknoll in Gippsland. Brent and Chantelle met in Grade 4 at Nar Nar Goon Primary School. It took until the first day of school in year 9 that Chantelle asked Brent out (through a friend of course). As most teenage love affairs go they were pretty shy and really didn’t talk much during that first year. Chantelle’s mum Cheryl would often ask Chantelle if she talked to Brent at school or football that day, and Chantelle would repeatedly say “no mum”. However towards the end of year 9 their relationship became a little more ‘serious’…. They actually began to talk.
The Proposal
Fast forward to Christmas morning 2016. Brent proposed at home, completely surprising Chantelle. She cried, A LOT, says Brent and actually took a long time to say yes because she was just so happy and emotional.
Wedding Day
When it came to planning the big day they knew they wanted a big party. Their 3 most important criteria were food, drink & music. After viewing many venues they then attended a cousin’s wedding which they had at their family property in Bass. Loving the atmosphere and relaxed vibe they decided to get married at Channy’s parents house in Nar Nar Goon. It was a lot of work but the actual day was just everything they ever dreamed of. They wouldn’t change a thing and wish they could do it again every weekend!
Future
They have been together now for nearly 14 years, experiencing so many of life’s adventures together and wouldn’t have it any other way. Brent & Chantelle appreciate the time they share with each other and the wider community of friends and family, playing football and netball where they have made many lifelong friends, all of whom were at their wedding and partied the night away with them. And best of all they see their future together, hoping to travel, start a family and to love each other for the rest of their lives.
