When Shan, from Shannon Jeans Celebrancy got in contact with me to ask if I would be keen to shoot an elopement up at Hotham for a beautiful couple I totally jumped at the chance. The fact that I was already booked to be at the snow that weekend was serendipitous and the friends that I was going up with were none other than the incredible duo that is Allure Productions, Ang and Michael meant it was totally meant to be.
With a dream team assembled I met with the gorgeous Sam and Liz to hear a little bit about their story and why they had chosen my favourite winter holiday location as their place to say “I do”.
The high country and the alpine region in particular is spectacularly beautiful but also very wild and weather dependent especially during snow season. I think it helped a lot that both myself and Michael and Ang spend a lot of time up there skiing and boarding so understand the weather and know all the best spots. In saying that this beautiful couple hit the jackpot with the weather. The Razorback had clear views all the way to Feathertop. No wind and balmy temperatures for late July.
