Wandin Park Estate // Rustic Farm Wedding
The number 7 is very lucky for Helena & Tom. They met on the 7th of November through mutual friends on Facebook. Then on the 7th of March, 5 years later, they got hitched at the stunning Wandin Park Estate, in a beautiful rustic farm setting. “It’s the perfect blend of country and elegance and I think it suited us both. The rolling hills and picturesque views, were something off a postcard and we just knew it was the right place for us. We could just feel it. It was the ONLY place we both agreed on straight away.”
Their day was absolutely perfect and better than either of them had imagined. “I’m sure most brides say that, but in all honesty it was perfect..” They both enjoyed their day leading up to the 3pm ceremony especially as both of them were right onsite at Wandin Park staying in their beautiful accommodation. Tom stayed in a gorgeous house across the road called Ruby’s cottage and Helena in the farm house on the property. This allowed them to relax and spend all day getting ready and grazing on platters and sipping champagne and for the boys lots of beer. It totally took any stress out of the day and made everything so easy both for us and our suppliers.
A highlight of the day had to be the ceremony which was totally hilarious. Mike Larkin, yes that Mike Larkin, weather man extroadinaire and their amazing celebrant had everyone in tears of laughter throughout the ceremony. It really set the tone for the the party vibe they wanted. Guests then got to enjoy the stunning views whilst enjoying delicious canapes and drinks before the reception began. Lots of dancing late into the night ensued and capped off the perfect day for these two gorgeous people.
